Questions come from your tree
The game uses the ancestors and details your account can access. A round may ask you to identify a face, choose a relationship, recall a fact, or answer from a life sketch. This makes the game useful before a reunion or while introducing children to names they see in a family book.
Results depend on the portraits and profile details available in FamilySearch. Adding better portraits and life sketches can improve later rounds.
Short rounds make it easy to play together
Rounds last 60 seconds and award points for correct answers. Families can pass the device, compare scores, or pause on a person they want to learn more about. Pioneer Trail mileage is saved in the browser on that device.
Use the game with the book
A book provides the names and stories. The game gives relatives a reason to recall them. Build a focused book for one branch, then play with the same part of the tree before or after reading it together.
