How Memories Book works

Choose a family branch, review the settings, and let Memories Book build the pages

Memories Book is designed for people who have useful family material in FamilySearch but do not want to download and arrange every item by hand.

1. Connect your FamilySearch account

The FamilySearch sign-in page asks you to authorize access.

2. Choose the people and contents

Pick a starting person, generation count, living-person setting, PDF memory setting, and photo limit. Memories Book lists the people in scope, then collects supported memories for the book.

A broad tree with many photos takes longer than a small branch. The progress screen reports the current stage while the book is being assembled.

3. Review the finished result

Read the on-screen PDF preview. Premium adds email and download for the completed PDF. Print and ship opens a separate order form with copy count, print choice, shipping, and the calculated total.

4. Return to earlier books

Completed books can be reopened for a limited time in the signed-in builder. Memories Book keeps completed book files for 90 days. Keep your own PDF copy if you need a permanent digital archive.
